My current Leverhulme Research Grant (Sept. 2025–Aug. 2029) collaborates with researchers in Edinburgh, Chile and Argentina, and is tasked with creating the Comparative-Historical Corpus of the Southern Cone.
The CHiCo-SC will be a digital, linguistically-tagged collection of many of the earliest writings in the languages of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, spanning materials from 1606 to the 20th century. More information is available here.
